About Me
Growing up in Kortrijk (Belgium), my interest in science, and specifically geology, grew at an early age by collecting rocks, minerals and fossils at home.
Currently, at age 29, I am working as a PhD student at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) on the characterization of Antarctic micrometeorites under the supervision of Prof. Philippe Claeys & Prof. Steven Goderis.

In my spare time, I enjoy a multitude of sports including jogging, cycling and tennis.

I strongly encourage the scientific development of children and young adults, and gladly offer the opportunity to demonstrate and present my work at your local school, observatory or organisation. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or if you wish to organize a lecture at your institution.
Research Interests
Igneous Geology
Petrographic & geochemical characterization of plutonic and volcanic rocks.

Planetary Geology
Petrographic & geochemical characterization of micrometeorites and interplanetary dust particles.

Isotope Geochemistry
Experienced in radiogenic Sr-Nd-Pb-Hf isotope geochemistry for igneous rocks, and oxygen isotope geochemistry in (micro)meteorites.
